The Stripe Upgrade
Stripes are recurrent, easy to carry (when placed right) and irresistibly stylish. The Silk Jacket by Zara represents just that and more. A mix of rose salmon and black stripes give a subtle and elegant touch to a well-known punk-inspired trend. The understated round collar invites for a contradictory voluminous or frilly one (think bows or ruffles) from a top underneath; while the modern folds the jacket ends in complete a well-rounded 21st century look.
Coincidentally or not, a very similar fabric can be found in the Fendi dress featured in our first-ever issue. A wonderful design choice in either piece.
