The lace blouse above and classic mom jeans give this look a hint of femininity while the must-have Dr. Martens patent boots balances it out. The one of a kind geometric bamboo clutch matches the squares in the coat and is an unexpected final touch while the wooden bangles complete the outfit.
Why not play the orange in the plaid coat and add a bright sweater to the mix, stick to black flared jeans for balance and add some matching yet unique cord sandals and a popping pink and orange
scarf bag full of texture and energy? A pair of wooden earrings complete the look.
Where is Valeria Lipovetsky's coat from? Check it out here.
Mix and matching is the key here and the more colors and textures you add, the more unique your outfit can become. As the plaid coat has a strong pattern already, by leaving most pieces one-colored (black or white are always your friends) you make the coat stand even more and become the star of your look.
I've sourced some more great coats (one row is of designer pieces and the other much more affordable starting at $40). Which of the two rows below do you bet is the designer coats one?
