Pair it with your favorite jeans and sweater for more chilly days or a lace blouse when it's finally sunny outside. The shoes will make this extremely versatile, as adding a pair of quirky boots will change the tone while more classic open shoes will give it a timeless spin.

Mix and matching is the key here and the more colors and textures you add, the more unique your outfit can become. As the plaid coat has a strong pattern already, by leaving most pieces one-colored (black or white are always your friends) you make the coat stand even more and become the star of your look.
