Warmth: Pantone® Fall-Winter Fashion Colors 2010

The cold and tough winter months need warmth: colors that calm the soul and help us keep going forward. Pantone®'s palette is full of contrasts and features four especially warm colors: American Beauty being the most notorious of them all, is meant to be a "feel-good" color and is used to complement edgy or quirky fashion. Honey Yellow brings the sunshine in while staying subdued and fit for winter, its fashion style is classic and feminine with a vintage feel. An interesting combination is created when matched with Burnt Sienna, a fall classic with a rusty twist in a base of orangey rose featured in frilly pieces with a retro touch.
Last but not least, comes the king of neutrals: Crème Brûlée. Frostier than our regular nudes, it becomes one of the most elegant hues in current styles. When paired with color, the result is impeccably chic, as it conveys joy amidst a challenging environment.

Sleeveless Chic

Layering is one of the most interesting ways to transform looks and keep current - and a most needed resource during the colder months. Waistcoats, sleeveless tops, gilets and vests are key and become the cherry on top of a well-layered fashion ensemble. Mixing different textures, lengths, thicknesses and styles is the way to go and will create striking end results every time.
Eclectic is this season's motto.
