What excites us most about prints and color is that the ending mix will always be your own. By creating unexpected pattern combinations and uniting otherwise standard pieces with uneven prints and expressive color palettes, the vision of ourselves becomes that of the uniqueness found in any part of the world. Instead of mimicking a known look, ethnically-inspired key pieces break the mold by expressing what they stand for: individual garments that are meant to be as different as you are. The best part is that this time, when the style is named "global", it deters from generic fashion available all over the world as a result of chain stores and explores an individuality that is only available at one's roots.

We posted this selection as part of the Global Fashion contest for Polyvore, like our set here!

Flowers have been an eternal form of expressing our most natural side. A way of coming back to one's roots, of making a pause in an ever hectic world, of breathing new life. This season, a touch of the past has been added to the mix resulting in a nostalgic and fresh interpretation of spring. This trend is a pleasure to pair with more modern styles or keep organic when choosing neutral pieces that make the floral pattern come to life by standing out.

This is the best of two worlds united in one exciting fashion trend.

Calming yet intense, Pantone®'s Blue Iris is one of the most sought after shades this fall. A favorite among any current designer, this color will set the pace in fashion during the cooler months. The spirituality and depth of this particular tone of blue is the result of its purple undertone, uniting carefully to produce a one of a kind feeling when wearing it. Flower patterns during the spring season cannot be called a trend, they are a given. Luckily however, each season, florals are somehow reinvented.

This time around, the alternative to predictable spring-related garments are bold and versatile short dresses. Graphic and colorful, these pieces are fresh enough for the daily heat but chic and fit for the city (no need of carrying around a piña colada or coconut handbag with you!). The variety of fabrics have a sense of being one of a kind, handpainted or vintage which contributes to the overall originality and glamour of each garment.

Easily transformable from day to night, you will find that modern florals are able to substitute corniness for pure energy.
