Mad about plaid: the trend is back and stronger than ever

There are trends that don't even deserve to be called that since they make their way time and time again with a new perspective or twist (a status studs have also gained). The plaid trend is just what it is - a classic that doesn't really go away but is able to reinvent itself and become a must-have again. This time around, the plaid pattern is somewhat monochromatic and the edginess will come from the cut and design of the pieces it appears on. Bomber and moto jackets, oversize coats, tapered pants and metallic details are examples of how plaid is back with a cool factor that is still elegant and timeless.

Brocade goes a long way

Nothing welcomes fall better than the luscious palette and texture of a memorable jacquard brocade look. Whether you go for the unexpected playful version (left) or for the elegant upscale version (right), brocade is a beautiful way to add interest to your wardrobe. The metallic and repetitive patterns mixed in with its classic floral ways, make it a current must-have that is both opulent and daring.
