One fashion item, so many stories. Have you ever realized how many incredible things you have experienced wearing this or that? Better yet, think of that precious piece you're always happy to wear and live the best days in. Your favorite moments can be relived over and over again when that connection with what you wore is made and remembered for years to come both in pictures and good memories.
Well, the six skirts we present tell a story by themselves and are unique enough to become that wardrobe favorite of yours to live all that and more: have a blast, go get the job you want or just fall in love.

Hate it or love it? We stumbled upon this midi patent skirt from ASOS and we have not made our minds yet. Is it too much or the coolest new alternative to a mid-length skirt? You decide! Vote for it below and if you love it we will create an outfit set around it and if not, it will go straight to the NFLust Hall of Shame.

This patent skirt: Love or loathe?

At times, we need to wear something to adjust to our less than stable mood. Got too many key pieces you'd like to wear at once? Can't choose only one wardrobe hit for the day? Choosing an outfit that crosses the "predictable" line is not as easy as it sounds. However, texture can be a great ally to create that element of surprise while reviving long forgotten pieces. By deciding a base palette that is naturally harmonious - in our example we went for pinkish neutrals, dashes of black and gold and a popping, surprising color such as coral or cherry red - you can mix prints and patterns in the same color range as well as combining knits with more delicate fabrics or adding metallic touches.

Texture indeed creates contrast: the more you use it, the outfit possibilities will be virtually endless.

Grey Knitted Sparkle Cape by Love Moschino; Peak Blouse Pink by MTWTFSS Weekday; Gold Sequin Collar by Asos; Stripe Full Circle Skirt by Topshop; Sonar Evening Clutch by Reiss; Gold-Tone Edgy Studded Cuff Bracelet from MiMi by Sorrelli; Two Tone Platform Court Shoe by Zara; Kara Bell Sleeve Shirt by Reiss; Napoleon Style Knit Cardigan by JShoppers; Elektra6 Jeans by Mango; Floral Print Canvas Shopper by Dorothy Perkins; Red Ringle Ballet Flats by Le Bunny Bleu; Wood & Silk Ribbon Crystal Ball Gold-Tone Necklace by Sparkling Sage.

When in doubt...make it stand out!
